Classroom News
Dear families,
It is that time of year already! SO many fun holiday things going on at the school and in our community. Below, you will find a rundown of our classroom wrap-up for 2019. May the end of this year be filled with family, and fun. May your new year be filled with hope and happiness.
December 17th, Holiday Shop: This is a special event put on by the PTO so that students have access to affordable items that they can purchase for friends and family this holiday season. Students brought home a letter explaining the PTO Holiday Shop that included an envelope which they may bring with spending money for purchasing gifts, if your family chooses to do so. We will go as a class to the holiday shop on this day; however, the shop is open to families the whole week. More information is on the PTO flyer your student brought home.
December 19, Third Grade Holiday Concert at 7pm: This is a special event that our students have been preparing for since October! Our music teachers, Mrs. Mckay and Ms. McCord, have put a lot of love and hard work into this wonderful event. Your student should come 30 to 15 minutes early to get ready for this concert. They should also come wearing their holiday best. This a concert to be remembered! Bring cameras and recording devices! Invite your close friends and relatives!
December 20, Pajamas and Pancakes 8:25 - 9:25: We will be celebrating the last day before winter break in comfort, and with full bellies! There will be a sign-up emailed that will explain our pancake breakfast in more detail and provide families with an opportunity to donate breakfast items for our celebratory breakfast. Parents and other family members are welcomed! Come in the comfort of your Pajamas!
Below you will see that I have space for updating families on what we are learning about in class. I try to update this information as it changes. Continue to check on this page periodically for updates. I try to include important dates and events, as well as fun things we are doing in class.
Warmly,
Mrs. Warren
